Consultation: Our first conversation gathers information to get acquainted with your family and understand specific needs. Making a Plan: Once we discuss the various care options, we can carefully evaluate to find the best fit while taking into consideration care needs, location preference and budget. Community Selection: Once we identify potential options, we will schedule tours, accompany you to each place, assist with paperwork and even help navigate the moving arrangements.
Valerie is a healthcare professional whose dedication to the quality of life and well-being of seniors grew from early life experiences with older family members as they navigated their own living situations and care challenges.
Her professional pursuits toward improving access to services, supporting family caregivers, and educating health care professionals has primarily involved special consideration for those experiencing cognitive impairment. She has authored and presented educational programs, conducted staff trainings, and initiated an advocacy group promoting oral health for the elderly. Valerie consults regularly on oral health programs and services and maintains her continuing education with a gerontology focus. Her volunteerism includes Alzheimer's Association, support of veterans and local community-based services.
Valerie advocates for seniors who seek the lifestyle they desire and deserve. While the metro area has numerous resources and residential options for aging residents, it can be overwhelming to know where to turn. Her first step is listening to clients and learning their needs so she can provide the most personal approach with a tailored solution.
