Tina Barnett, a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA®), is a dedicated professional who co-founded Elderberry Care, a consulting firm specializing in providing assistance to older adults in navigating technology. With a deep-seated passion for supporting older adults and their caregivers, Tina strives to empower them by leveraging the benefits of technology to enhance and enrich their lives.
Tina serves as a trainer and program manager for the technology education program of the nonprofit LEARN (Lifelong Education and Resource Network), an initiative offering computer training to older adults residing in Idaho's Treasure Valley region. This program operates in collaboration with organizations like OATS and Senior Planet, charitable affiliates of AARP.
Hailing from the Lone Star State, Tina received her BA in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. After nearly three decades of living and raising her family in Boise, Idaho, she proudly considers herself a true outdoors-loving Idahoan. Alongside her role as a co-founder of Creatures of Light Productions, Tina has lent her expertise to numerous nonprofit organizations, effectively raising awareness through the power of compassionate storytelling via film, social media, and direct donor outreach. Her work has encompassed collaborations with institutions such as Ballet Idaho, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho, Ventana Sierra, among others. Furthermore, she actively serves on the Board of Directors of LEARN, further highlighting her commitment to the aging services field.
