Ralph J. Lagriola RFC, CSA, LUTCF, FEPS, is President of Independent Brokerage Service. He is a Registered Financial Consultant, Certified Senior Advisor, Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow, Final Expense Planning Specialist, Business Coach, Continuing Education Instructor, and the Finance Officer for American Legion Post 106. Ralph is a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, Society of Certified Senior Advisors, and the Final Expense Planning Specialist Association. He is a Past New Jersey State President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Past President of the Greater Essex Chapter and a former FINRA Registered Rep who held a Series 7, 24 and 63. Other Association Board positions held were National Committeeman, Membership Directory Chairman, Treasurer and Life Underwriter Training Council Chairperson and Moderator. Ralph was recognized by both the New Jersey State National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors and Greater Essex NAIFA Chapter as Life Underwriter of the Year. In addition, he received several association awards for Outstanding Dedication of Service from Local, State and National NAIFA Organizations. He was also presented with the prestigious Edmund L. Zalinski Distinguished Service Award for Exceptional Contributions of Time and Effort to the Life Underwriters Training Council. He donated his time and expertise to educate insurance and financial professionals of the Newark / Greater Essex Chapter of NAIFA as a LUTC Moderator and Chairman. He serves as the Finance Officer for the Hasbrouck Heights Post 106 American Legion.
A lover of Old Cars, he owns a 1931 Model A Ford Roadster and participates in car shows and parades. He resides in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey with his wife Lois. They have two married children and five grandchildren.
