Over the last 40 years I have worked in a range of service-related jobs. Starting with Montgomery Wards as a gas station attendant. With Wards I worked through college and left as a Group Merchandiser managing the Men’s, Shoes, and Toys departments. I then moved to working for the State of Indiana. I started as a Public Assistance Caseworker (Medicaid Food stamps AFDC). I was then promoted to be a Family Case Manager working to protect children from abuse and neglect. After 12 years with the State, I moved to work for Thrivent Financial as a Series 7 and 66 Financial Advisor. After 10 years I left Thrivent and have narrowed my focus to work with Medicare and related products. Now at my Merrillville Indiana office my first focus is helping individuals understand and find the coverage that is correct for them as an individual. As an independent insurance agent, I am appointed with a range of companies so that we can find what works for you. I also work to keep up to date with the various programs that provide help. I consider it important to ask the questions to explore eligibility for Medicaid, QMB and a list of other programs.
