I am a fierce advocate for seniors and their families. Assist clients and families in navigating the home care process. Explain their Long Term Care policies, and assist in coming up with schedules based on their needs and level of care. Provide Case Management for clients needing assistance in making doctor's appointments, reminders of appointments, communicating with family, and organizing day-to-day tasks.
I graduated from Florida State University in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and a minor in Psychology. I obtained my Master's in Education from Strayer University in 2011. I was an Army spouse from 2003-2012 with my then-husband who was on active duty Army. I survived multiple deployments focusing on being a new mom, getting my master's, and working. I have been in the senior living industry since 2001working in all kinds of facilities (Assisted, rehab, Skilled). I moved into the home health area in 2015 and enjoy this area of senior living the most. Keeping families in their homes is my ultimate goal. Being honest and transparent about safety, security, and finances is always in the back of my mind for each client. Everyone's situation is different. What fits for one, doesn't fit for all.
I enjoy learning and keeping up with current issues with seniors in our community and around the world. Helping clients and their families obtain the knowledge that helps them better understand why something happens motivates me.
