My CarePatrol journey began while caring for my mother in my home. I had cared for her for 11 years
when she fell and broke her back on my kitchen floor. I was just outside of my house doing yard work
and she laid there for 3.5 hours. She wasn’t wearing her key fob and had she not been living with me;
may not have been discovered until it was too late. This event terrified my mother and she asked that we
look into a care community for her. At the same time that this was happening with my mom, my
girlfriend's parents were also both declining and in need of a care community. We made the mistake of
contacting certain online agencies and were bombarded with lists and inappropriate care options for our
loved ones. I knew there had to be a better way.

After our parents were eventually placed in care
communities, I discovered CarePatrol as an ownership option during the pandemic. I realized that
CarePatrol offered a much better way to go through the trauma and uncertainty of this process alone. I
purchased my franchise in Sep 2021. I wanted to help families and their loved ones through this
transition and ensure they have a better experience than myself & my girlfriend did..
