Jennifer Hull-Morehead

I have 23 years experience working with the elderly. I began my career in Occupational Therapy, and received an Associate of Applied Science from KSU. I continued my studies while working as a COTA/L, and received a BS in Psychology from KSU. I choose OT because I believe in treating the individual in a holistic manner mind, body, and soul. I believe in individualized therapy and purposeful activities of every day living. I went on to receive my Masters in Health Care Administration, from Canyon College. I became a Nursing Home Administrator, and worked with the elderly in different industries. My first job as a Nursing Home Administrator was at Aliquippa Community Hospital. The hospital was actually built by contributions from the local United Steelworkers of America. I was the NHA/L on their skilled floor, which was primarily short term rehab patients. I loved this job, because it allowed me to utilize both of my degrees Occupational Therapy, and Nursing Home Administration. I have always believed in the care continuum, and helping the person return to their prior level of functioning, or at a level that will allow them to maintain a level of functional independence. I have worked with different companies such as Extendicare and Guardian Health Care providing consulting services within the Nursing Home industry. I have always been successful with business development, and Survey Preparedness. I have worked within the home health and outpatient therapy industry. I strongly believe in the care continuum, and transitioning the client to help them maintain their independence in a safe manner. I went on to receive my license in health and life insurance. I choose to become an independent broker and work for the individual in an ethical manner. I am licensed in OH, WV, and PA, and certified with many carriers, which allows me to do what is in the best interest of the client. I also believe in utilizing products to help individuals age in place. I am a strong believer in LTC insurance and life insurance with living benefits, which allows the client to utilize the benefit to age in place. I believe in fixed indexed annuities, which reduce the risk of loss, and provide lifetime income options. I love working with the elderly, and empowering them to make educated decisions, and age in place.
