Iva Thelen

With a passion for helping others navigate senior living, Iva began her eldercare career in 2015 when the care of her mother and brother became her responsibility. Iva loves seniors and believes they should have the opportunity to maintain their quality of life for as long as possible. After years of learning the ropes of the senior living industry and receiving her national certification to be a Certified Senior Advisor®, Iva started Ideal Senior Living Solutions, LLC to help other families challenged with navigating senior living. She has also become a Certified Dementia Practitioner and specializes in supporting those families managing memory impairment with their loved one.

Iva has volunteered as a board member of the West Bend Senior Center Activities, Inc., Classics for a Cause fundraising committee, the West Bend AARP Steering Committee, and the WCCC (Washington County Caregiver Coalition), and the Hartford Area Business Networking Association. She is originally from the metro Atlanta, Georgia area and has lived in West Bend, Wisconsin since 2001. She enjoys life to the fullest with her husband, son, and cat, Smokey.
