I am an educator and advisor to those who are navigating the transitions and uncertainties of growing older. I believe honesty, respect, teamwork and grace are the hallmarks of success in these endeavors

Specifically:

I advise businesses desiring to develop or provide services to older Americans on program/product development, marketing and sales.

I advise individuals, couples and families attempting to understand the realities of the situation they face and how physical, mental, spiritual, financial, and social values can be maintained through the journey of aging.

Biographical Information:

My background in senior living, estate planning, financial services and real estate is strong and varied. I have served as Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, worked for senior living developers and providers, lead hundreds of estate planning and long-term care planning seminars all across the US, developed programs and software within the mortgage industry to effectively utilize the home asset at various life stages.

I have been active in volunteer service as a youth leader at my church for more than thirty years, appointed by the Governor of NC to a study commission on adoption, and presently serve on the Board of Trustees at Louisburg College.
