(There are a few variances in assisted living and nursing home regulations across the states, but they are largely similar.) Similar to work of a realtor, my services were to recommend options that were a good match for the person's care needs and financial capabilities.

Retired in 2021 - but open to part-time
Worked in New Orleans/Baton Rouge area for 4.5 yrs running a senior placement business, helping seniors and their families navigate their options on housing pertinent for their situation, such as private pay in-home caregiver, independent living, assisted living, memory care, and subsidized housing and nursing homes.
