Dave Penney, MD

Dave Penney, M.D., is the owner and director of Griswold Home Care for Greater Newport Beach. With over 20 years of experience as an Ob/Gyn physician, he is very familiar with the challenges that can develop as we grow older and medical conditions that make daily living difficult at any age. This professional knowledge took on a deeper and more personal understanding when his mother developed Alzheimer’s dementia several years ago. It was with this inspiration that he decided to become not only an advocate but a provider of non-medical home care services to those in his own community.

Using his expertise as a physician as well as his understanding of caregiving needs on a personal level, his mission is to provide the most compassionate, seamless, and personalized experience when someone is searching for non-medical home care services. To help accomplish this, he has partnered with Griswold Home Care to bring their over 40 years of home care experience to Southern California.

Dave is a proud graduate of UCLA and received his M.D. from The Chicago Medical School. Additionally, he is a board-certified Ob/Gyn and Certified Senior Advisor. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. And whether it be sailing, enjoying good food, seeing live music, or volunteering for a cause, he believes that an honest life is a fulfilling life!
